So 2021 has come and gone — and there was a lot to talk about.

But I write about the human brain and how this impacts everything we do, from health, to society, to business, to helping you to live longer, healthier and happier.

I am sure you are not aware of the unmitigated roll of continued research that continues to take place below the level of public consciousness — but it is precisely these pieces of research that can have the most dramatic impacts on your life and the live of others. Or will become the big trends of the future.

Part 2, March-April:

Collecting DNA in the air!

This study published in April 2021showed that DNA particle could could captured from the air to identify which animals are in the vicinity or have been in the vicinity. This particular experiment was done in one enclosure but in the meantime (studies just published in January 2022) this has been done by sampling air at different places in a zoo to accurately show which animals are resident.

Yes, human DNA was also measured — and so this has potential forensic possibilities. Which may be great news, or terrible news with a risk of abuse by…
